Chuck Holliday
Photographer, The Gramercy Project
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY

From rapper (much hyped but short lived group "Out of Order") to a $100-a-week vice presidency at The Network Inc., Chuck Holliday went into partnership with Elaine Powell to help form Urban Renewal Media in 2003. In the nearly 3 years since, Holliday's climb to the top has been fast and furious. By signing big-name modeling talent, Holliday has proved he can sign and retain toplight modeling talent.

As one of the few urban photographers of the new generation to achieve popularity and financial success without exploiting Boudoir & Raunchy tingled content, Chuck Holliday became the first choice for photography work with various minority businesses on the northeast. Holliday has never let working opportunities go by without slipping in a good word for business associates and staff. Ever the team player with an instinct for smart combinations, Chuck Holliday always hit big behind the scenes within industry professionals . . . something that is too often forgotten, because Chuck doesn't toot his own horn.

Holliday identifies strategic marketing as the lifetime to all consumers and brings "executable creativity" to every brand with which he is involved. Holliday not only understands how to market to the urban demographic, but as a prominent member of the New York City industry population, he has access to and influence over the individuals who are responsible for creating trends.

Chuck Holliday formed Digital First in 2006 to combine various ventures, projects, and investments into one big "tent" with the sole purpose of establishing growth for all partnerships via cross-branding and strategic marketing.
